By dedicating our time and effort to cleaning up beaches, we are actively taking steps towards preserving the natural habitat of marine animals and reducing the negative impacts of pollution on their health and well-being.

Participating in beach clean-up activities allows us to directly witness the detrimental effects of plastic pollution on marine life. By removing microplastics from coastal areas, we are preventing these harmful materials from entering the ocean and endangering marine animals through ingestion or entanglement. Through our actions, we are promoting a cleaner and safer environment for both wildlife and humans alike.

Furthermore, volunteering for beach clean-ups provides an opportunity for individuals to educate themselves and others about the importance of reducing plastic waste and protecting our oceans. By raising awareness about the consequences of plastic pollution, we can inspire others to make more sustainable choices in their daily lives and contribute to a healthier planet for future generations.

Wave camp : 2 month summer camp

Marine biology is a fascinating field of study that offers unique insights into the diverse and complex ecosystems of our oceans. For Children between the ages of 7 and 17 interested in the ocean and the many wonders it has to off look no further, our abroad summer camp focuses on providing an enriching and educational experience. This camp will not only teach children about marine life and its importance but also raise awareness about the dangers of microplastics in our oceans.

Microplastics are tiny pieces of plastic debris that pose a significant threat to marine life and the health of our oceans. By educating children about the impact of microplastics on marine ecosystems, we can empower them to take action and make a difference. Through hands-on activities, workshops, and field trips, kids will learn how they can help reduce plastic pollution and protect our oceans for future generations.

By immersing themselves in the world of marine biology, students will gain a deeper appreciation for the beauty and complexity of our oceans. They will learn about different species of marine life, their habitats, behaviours, and conservation efforts to protect them. Through interactive lessons and engaging activities, kids will develop a greater understanding of the interconnectedness of all living organisms in the ocean.
